Patriarch Igantius Zakka Iwas Congratulated Patriarch John X on the release of Orthodox Nuns

UAE: Patriarch Ignatius Zakka Iwas of Antioch and All East congratulated Patriarch John X of Antioch and All East on the release of the kidnapped Orthodox nuns. Patriarch Zakka Iwas who is presently in Germany, made telephonic conversation with his counterpart in Syria. Patriarch Zakka Iwas expressed his unending joy on the safe return of the nuns and conveyed fraternal and brotherly prayers and support.
Both Patriarchs agreed to intensify the cooperation between both churches on spiritual, social and religious levels. They also hope for the safe return of the two abducted Metropolitan’s BYuhanna Ibrahim and Paul Yazici as well all Priests and others who are in captivity.
