Patriarch Abune Mathias of Ethiopia Meets Catholicos Aram I of the Holy See of Cilicia
His Holiness Abune Mathias I – Sixth Patriarch and Catholicos of Ethiopia, Archbishop of Axum and Ichege of the See of Saint Taklehaimanot (R) and His Holiness Aram I – Catholicos of the Holy See of Cilicia of the Armenian Apostolic Church (L).

Beirut: Patriarch Abune Mathias of Ethiopia arrived in Lebanon and met with His Holiness Aram I of the Greater House of Cilicia of the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church. Abune MAthias and the Ethiopian Orthodox delegation is expected to take part in the Holy Muron blessing, inauguration of the Genocide monuments and other functions.
Both Prelates discussed about the life of Oriental Orthodox churches in general. Other Primates of the Oriental Orthodox Churches are also expected to arrive in Lebanon to take part in the landmark ceremony.
