Papa Ephraim, based on Metropolitan Ierotheos Vlachos, Metropolitan Seraphim of Pireus, Fr. Theodoros Zisis, Mr. Dimitrios Tselenghidis, states that the Synod of Crete contains theological mistakes and Fr. Matheos Vulcanescu comments on the Ecclesiologic Heresy inherent in the texts of the Synod of Crete pertaining to “Relation of the Orthodox Church with the rest of the Christian World”.
