Orthodox priest met in Ukraine with families of hostages held captive in Libya

Soon after his return from Libya coworker of the Department for External Church Relations of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Archpriest Zechariah Kerstyuk met in Ukraine with the relatives of the prisoners, who are held captive by Libyan rebels for more than nine months. During the meeting, archpriest Zechariah told them about his meeting with the prisoners, the conditions in which they are kept, and conveyed to the families their messages and requests.
As reported previously, on 17 April 2012 archpriest Zechariah Kerstyuk, during his trip to Libya was able to meet with Ukrainian prisoners and to communicate with them, render them spiritual support and congratulate on the occasion of Easter.
