Latin? Part of the reason Orthodox Christianity does not spread in America is the language barrier. The Western Rite churches under Antioch and ROCOR are mostly in English if not all.

The Chant was in Latin. So what? It was written in Latin. The liturgy was done in English I’m sure.Have you ever tried to translate a song? It would not sound right at all and in some cases the entire sentence structure would have to be altered. I thought it was beautiful.
