Orthodox Bishop Urge ‘Spiritual Training’ for the Russian Football Team

Moscow-Russia: Metropolitan Mitrofan, the head of the Russian Church’s commission on physical culture and sport recently commented that divine intervention is required for the Russian football team to succeed in matches. The Russian team could not perform well in Euro 2020 championship.
“Of course a solution to this problem is overdue and our national team needs confessors to take care of our lads In my view, our team lacks spiritual training: no fighting spirit, spiritually weak and unmotivated.” stated the Bishop, according to RIA Novosti News Agency.
