On the birthday of His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr the episcopate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church prayed for health and recovery of their Primate

On November 23, the day of the 76th birthday anniversary of His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Refectory Church of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
With the blessing of the primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, the worship was led by the permanent members of the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Agathangel of Odessa and Izmayil, metropolitan Hilarion of Donetsk and Mariupol, metropolitan Pavel of Vyshgorod and Chernobyl.
During the service the hierarchs, clergy and faithful prayed for health and quick recovery of their Primate. At the litany of fervent supplication the deacon enounced requests and then the augmented prayer was read for the health of His Beatitude Volodymyr.
At the end of worship the prayer service was performed.
After the Divine Liturgy, chief of the administrative office of the UOC Archbishop Metrophanes of Bila Tserkva and Bohuslav and members of the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church visited His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr in hospital.
