OBL Delegation Visits His Grace Mathews Mar Thimothios

With the blessing of Rt Rev Chorbishop Dr. Kyriakose Thottupuram of Chicago (OBL-Director) the OBL Delegation under the leadership of Mr. George Alexander (Chief Coordinator- Dept. of Public Relations) visited His Grace Dr. Mathews Mar Thimothios of the Indian Orthodox Church in the month of August 2009. His Grace Mar Thimohios is the Metropolitan of the UK-Europe-Africa Diocese of the Indian Orthodox Church. His Grace Mar Thimothios is also the newly elected Chairman of the Oriental Orthodox Council in the UK. The Delegation met Mar Thimothios at the India Relations office of the Metropolitan at Mavelikkara, Alappuzha District, Kerala State, India. Mr. Renjith Office Secretary welcomed the delegation. Different topics were discussed and Mr. George explained the works of OBL in detail. On behalf of the OBL Director and Chairman, Mr. George presented Mar Thimothios with an ICON of St Timothy. Mr. Soney Cherian, a strong association of OBL was present for the occasion.
