The Polish Orthodox Church
Brazil Diocese of the Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church has launched an official website. It contains, inter alia, news, contact details of the parishes and clergy, theological and historical articles and photo and video galleries.
Polish Orthodox Diocese of Brazil has eight parishes and two monasteries. It is ruled by Archbishop Chrysostom and Bishop Ambrose. It agglomerates approximately 1,200 faithful that are served by 10 priests, two monks and a nun.
Services are celebrated in Portuguese. The Julian calendar is followed. The diocese has very good relationships with other canonical jurisdictions in Brazil. Along with Serbian parishes it is considered to be the jurisdiction that carries missionary activity best. Page can be found at igrejaortodoxadobrasil.org.br.
