New Publication – “Christian Preliminary Theory on Condemning Cremation”

Under the blessings of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, the Publishing Department of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin has published the work entitled “Christian Preliminary Theory on Condemning Cremation” by Deacon Gevorg Gevorgian, from the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church in America. The book was published with the initiative of His Eminence Archbishop Khajhak Parsamyan, Primate of the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church in North America.

Deacon Gevorg was guided by the orthodox doctrines while working on the book. The work is comprised of 17 chapters, where the author relies on many examples from the Holy Bible and highlights that cremation is intolerable and strange to the Christian principles.

The work is unique in its kind and is a result of a extensive research, aimed for a wide range of readers.
