15 New Priests Receive Clergy Appointments from Holy Etchmiadzin
In July of this year, the Armenian Church celebrated the historic ordination of 27 new priests. Following their ordinations, they completed the traditional 40-day seclusion period of fasting, mediation and prayer and have celebrated their inaugural Divine Liturgies at different churches throughout Armenia.
By Pontifical order, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, has assigned 15 of the new priests to serve in the dioceses of the Holy Armenian Apostolic Church. The remaining 12 new priests will continue their service at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin until receiving new assignments.
