New Appointments
Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

With the blessing of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, the newly ordained priests having completed a period of 40 days of seclusion, have been appointed to serve in different dioceses of the Armenian Church and departments the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. The priests were ordained in the Mother Cathedral on June 2, 2011.
As of August 1, Rev. Fr. Merujan Soghomonian will continue his service in the Diocese of Gugark; Rev. Fr. Komitas Tigranian – in the Diocese of Siunik; Rev. Fr. Stepanos Hovhannisian – in the Mother Cathedral of Yerevan, St. Gregory the Illuminator.
Rev. Fr. Zakaria Ananian and Rev. Fr. Simeon Movsisian will continue to serve as chaplains in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia. Rev. Fr. Tovma Khachatrian and Rev. Fr. Hambardzum Arabian will serve in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
