Museum of Russian Icons in the US Celebrates 15th Anniversary

Massachusetts-USA: The Museum of Russian Icons located in Clinton, Massachusetts will celebrate the 15th anniversary of its founding through an exhibition titled ‘Icons for Our Time: Orthodox Art from Around the World’. The exhibition will display fifteen special icons by the leading contemporary iconographers. Artist from Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Egypt, Greece US, UK, Japan, Montenegro, Serbia etc will associate with the program.

“Icons of Our Times” program that extends from the 11th of October to the 3rd of April will explore Orthodox Christian art and its spread through iconography.

Founded in 2006, this non-profit museum has more than 1,000 Russian icons and artifacts. The museum began as the private collection of Gordon B. Lankton, a plastics engineer and former chairman and CEO of Nypro, Inc.
