Dubai – UAE: Gulfnews reports that the Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi, the Capital City of United Arab Emirates is renamed as Mary, Mother of Jesus (‘Mariam, Umm Eisa’ in Arabic). Change in name of this mosque was ordered by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi (Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces).
The United Arab Emirates has a great tradition and legacy of religious tolerance. The nation practices a unique model of religious and cultural tolerance.
