MA`ARAT SAYYIDNAYA, DAMASCUS: Rabban Dawood Matti Consecrated as Mor Nicodemos by Holy Father Moran Mor Ignatius Zakka I Iwas as Archbishop of Mosul and Environs at St. Peter & St Paul’s Cathedral in St. Ephraim Patriarchal Monastery, Damascus, Syria on 27 November 2011.

Mor Philoxinus Mattias Nayis (Patriarchal Assistant, Director of St. Aphrem Theological Seminary, Ma’arat Saidnaya, Damascus), Mor Gregorios Yohanna Ibrahim (Archbishop of Aleppo & Environs in Syria), Mor Severios Malke Mourad (Patriarchal Vicar of Jerusalem & Jordan), Mor Athanasius Aphrem Barsaum (Metropolitan of Beirut-Lebanon), Mor Clemis Daniel Kourieh (Archbishop of Beirut & Benevolent institutions in Lebanon), Mor Osthatheos Matta Rohum (Metropolitan of Jazirah & Euphrates), Mor Selwanos Petros Al-Nemeh (Metropolitan of Homs & Hama), Mor Gregorios Saliba Shamoun (Metropolitan of Mosul), Mor Severius Ishak Zaka (Metropolitan of St. Aphrem Seminary, Mosul), Mor Irenius Paulose (Metropolitan of Kozhikode Diocese), Mor Chrisostomos Markose (Metropolitan of the Evangelical Association of the East ) assisted His Holiness on Consecration ceremony. Visiting evangelist from Malankara Fr. Paulose Parekkara also attended the ceremony along with many other Rabbans, Priests , Nuns and faithful of Syriac orthodox Church.
