First of all I would like to say great blog! I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if you don’t

sich möglicherweise nicht mehr so gut verarbeiten,
mutmaßt der Betreiber der ältesten Tätowierstube Deutschlands, Sebastian Makowski.

Mögliche Ersatzstoffe könnten in Anbetracht von Farbbrillanz oder Haltbarkeit keine wirklichen Alternativen darstellen. Ein Verbot der Pigmente “Blau 15” und “Grün 7” habe auch drastische Folgen für den Verbraucherschutz,
warnt der Bundesverband Tattoo. Nach einer eigenen Untersuchung der
Inhaltsstoffe aller handelsüblichen Tattoo-Farben enthielten fast zwei Drittel aller Farben die beiden Pigmente.
Ein Verbot wäre eine Katastrophe für alle Farbtätowierer und deren Kunden, sagte Tschiggy Lindner,
Inhaberin von “Bubblegum Tattoo” auf dpa-Anfrage. Unter dem Druck der Nachfrage könnten Hersteller und
Tätowierer verzweifelte Wege gehen, befürchtet Lickefett.
Demnach könnten Anbieter beispielsweise ihre
Produkte als Künstlerfarben umdeklarieren, um sich dadurch dem Verbot zu entziehen. Im Oktober eröffnet
Edding im Chilehaus ein eigenes Tattoostudio mit Farben aus
eigener Produktion. Nach Herstellerangaben enthalten die Farben keine Konservierungsstoffe
und auch die Pigmente “Blau 15” und “Grün 7” sucht man vergebens:
“Eddings Tattoo-Farben verwenden diese Pigmente und weitere Stoffe nicht, sind daher zukünftig EU-konform”, hieß
es von der Pressestelle. In Hamburg gibt es aber nicht nur das erste Tattoostudio Deutschlands – sondern womöglich
auch bald das erste Studio, das von einem Schreibwarenhersteller geführt wird.
Das Projekt befinde sich aber noch ganz am Anfang.
Als unmittelbare Lösung der Probleme, die sich durch ein mögliches Verbot der Pigmente
ergeben würden, seien die eigenen Farben ohnehin nicht gedacht, sagt er.
Das liegt auch daran, dass der Laden im Herzen Hamburgs
laut Knebelkamp zunächst das einzige Tattoostudio sein soll,
das die Edding-Farben benutzt.

Tattoos sind schon lange keine Rarität oder ein Phänomen bestimmter sozioökonomischer
Kulturen mehr. Von der Hausfrau über den Bankmanager bis zum lebensfrohen Rentner trägt inzwischen jeder diese
Kunst als Erinnerung an eine Lebensphase, einen Urlaub, einen geliebten Mitmenschen oder einfach als
Körperschmuck. Dabei erfreuen sich viele an den Farben und daran, dass diesen ihnen ein Leben lang erhalten bleibt.

Nun will die EU jedoch bestimmte Farbpigmente verbieten – und damit
das Leben der Tätowierer, wie auch der Kunden wesentlich farbloser
machen. Wer sich in Deutschland tätowieren lässt, muss in der
Regel kaum Bedenken um Hygiene haben, denn alle Tattoo-Studios unterliegen strengen Richtlinien und Auflagen hinsichtlich der Sterilisierung von Material und Nadelverwendung.
Allerdings möchte die EU nun zwei Pigmente in der
Ink verbieten. Das Problem dabei ist nicht nur, dass
diese Farben vielen gefallen, sondern auch dass Green 7, CI 74260 und Blue 15, CI 74160 in zwei Drittel aller weltweit
verfügbaren Tattoo-Farben enthalten sind. Diese sind auch nicht nur in Blau- und Grüntönen, sondern auch in roten und pinken Nuancen. Werden Sie verbannt stehen nur noch Schwarz-, Rot-
und Gelbtöne zur Auswahl – für einen echten Künstler mag sich dies anfühlen, als habe man ihm die Farbpalette genommen.
