Turkey: His Eminence Abune Mor Thimotheos Mathews (Patriarchal Secretray for Indian Affairs) celebrated Holy Eucharist at the ancient Syriac Orthodox Monastery of Saint Gabriel in Tur Abdin, Turkey. Mor Thimotheos Samuel Atkas (Metropolitan of Tur Abdin) was present for the ocassion.
This historical spiritual hub was founded in 397 and is the most important Syriac Orthodox monastery located in Turkey.
