Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk lectures at St. Dimitry’s Sisterhood Medical Nurses College

On 16 June 2010, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, head of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations, met with the students of St. Dimitry’s Sisterhood Medical Nurses College at the lecture hall of the Pirogov Russian State Medical University.
Archpriest Arkady Shatov, father confessor of the students, greeted Metropolitan Hilarion.
The DECR Chairman lectured on the Orthodox understanding of death, answered many questions of the listeners, and signed the guest book.
Archpriest Arkady Shatov presented Metropolitan Hilarion with the book “Patristic Teaching on Man,” written by His Eminence for the library of the college in 1992 when he was a hieromonk, and with a doll dressed as a nurse.
Metropolitan Hilarion presented two volumes of his book “Orthodoxy” to the college.
