Malankara- Kerala: Captain Raju (68), the well known Malayalam Film actor form India entered eternal rest on 17/9/18.

He belonged to an ancient Malankara Orthodox Christian family from Omallur, Pathanamthitta District in Kerala. After graduation, he joined the Indian Army and was promoted to the rank of  a Captain.

Captain Raju was well known for his iconic character ‘Pavanayi. He has acted in more than 500 films and has directed two movies. Apart from movies, the actor use to speak at Church programs and also interacted with a lot of youth.

He is survived by his wife Prameela and Son Ravi.
