Memorial service for 3267 killed Serbs in Podrinje

His Grace Bishop Vasilije of Zvornik-Tuzla served yesterday, with the concelebration of priests of the hierarchical vicarage of Zvornik, the memorial service on the graveyard in Bratunac for 3267 killed Serbs of this area.
Bishop Vasilije and President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik held a speech.
On St. Peter’s Day in 1992 moslem forces, led by commander Orlic, attacked the Serbian villages of Zapazje, Biljaca, Sase and Zagoni in which they killed 69 Serbian civilians, and more than 70 wounded. Nineteen persons are still missing today. The villages were rampaged, burnt and still not recovered.
From May to December 1992 there were tens of Serbian villages destroyed in municipalities of Srebrenica, Bratunac and Skelani.
On the area of Srebrenica, Zvornik, Milici, Bratunac, Vlasenica and Osmaci, during the war, at least 1300 Serbs were killed, while in the wider area of the middle Podrnje and Birc there were 3267 Serbs killed.
Prime Minister of RS Aleksandar Dzom said that international community must take in account the fact that in last war Serbs were also killed.
