Meeting of the US Eastern and Oriental Orthodox Joint Commission

USA: Representatives of the Eastern and Oriental Orthodox Christian Churches in the US gathered at the headquarters of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.

This was the first meeting after the revival of the Joint Commission which was held on 8th Oct 2019, at the St. Vartan Armenian Orthodox Cathedral.

The members of the commission examined the details of the sacraments of baptism and matrimony and its application in the US context.

A joint Inter-Orthodox nativity concert will also be held at the Mor Aphrem Center, New Jersey, on 8th December 2019.
