Kottayam-Kerala-India: The Malankara Nasrani Association the apex administrative body and the supreme parliament of the of the Malankara Church (Indian Orthodox Malankara Church) will be convened on the 14th of October at Parumala. Malankara Association comprising the representatives of priests and the laity will ratify the election of the new Catholicos-Mooppan and Malankara Metropolitan designate (Metropolitan Mathews Severios).

Malankara Metropolitan is the president of the Association and diocesan Metropolitans with administrative charges shall be vice-presidents. It is considered the largest ecclesiastical parliament in the world.
