Macedonian Orthodox Church sends letters to the Ecumenical Patriarchate the Russian Orthodox Church and to the Serbian Orthodox Church to revamp dialogue for Canonical Unity

Belgrade: It has been reported that the Macedonian Orthodox Church (MOC) Synod has send letters to the Ecumenical Patriarchate, the Russian Orthodox Church, and to the Serbian Orthodox Church expressing their readiness to re-open talks regarding reestablish communion.
The Serbian Orthodox Church requires the release of Archbishop Jovan of Orhid who has been detained by the Macedonian authorities for long time, as the major condition to revamp dialogue for canonical unity.
MOC is not recognized Other Orthodox Churches and are considered to be inside the non-cannnocial division. The only cannonical Church in Macedonia is Orthodox Ohrid Archbishopric (within the Serbian Orthodox Church) the autonomous Eastern Orthodox archdiocese in the Republic of Macedonia which is in full communion with all other Orthodox Churches.
