King’s College London Welcomes “The Christian Heritage of Kosovo and Metohija”

On May 10, at King’s College London, one of the top 20 universities in the world (2013-4 QS international world rankings), a rare history and fine art book, published by Sebastian Press, was presented to a wider public interested to study or expand their knowledge about the cultural heritage of Kosovo and Metohija (Serbia). 

Bishop Maxim of Western America and Abbott Sava of Decani Monastery spoke about the book at the College Chapel at the Strand. This chapel is seen by many as the spiritual heart of the College. Vocal quartet led by Bozidar Smiljanic sung during the presentation.

This Monograph is addressed to both scholarly and wider public interesting in cultural heritage of Kosovo and Metohija, covering late Roman, Byzantine and Serbian medieval and post-medieval cultural heritage. It isl an important reference book for academics, archeologists, art historians, historians, various groups of researchers, students as well for artists, politicians, international agencies, NGO’s, decisions makers, etc.

A copy of the book was presented to the Library of this College.
