This is a kind plea to our readers, well-wishers and all good-hearted people to support and help Sara Nukina who has been diagnosed with a brain tumour. An extremely talented teenager, Sara Nukina has been appearing on ‘Radio Trinitas’, the radio station of the Romanian Patriarchate.

According to Basilica news Agency “Two weeks ago, Sara was diagnosed with an infiltrative tumour of the inoperable brain stem, and she needs the best oncological treatment one can get. At present, she managed to check in the AKH Clinic in Vienna, where she was transferred wit great difficulty, given the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions.

Sara Nukina will turn 16 on September 5. She is the daughter of Japanese karate trainer Nukina Nobuyuki, who embraced the Orthodox faith. The teenager has already gone through an emergency surgical intervention. The next steps are radiotherapy and oncological treatment, for which the family needs to raise funds. Only for the first stage of the treatment, they need to raise 50,000 Euros. “

Meanwhile, Patriarch Daniel of Romania donated 2,000 Euros for Sara Nukina for meeting treatment needs.
