Deacon Basil Varghese BD Final year student of Gurukul Lutheran Theological Seminary, Chennai was diagnosed with leukemia and has been admitted to CMC Vellore. He belongs to Thurithiply St Mary’s Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church, It was recently found out that it is lymphatic cancer and it has spread throughout his body and has started affecting his brain also.
The situation is a little critical. They have already spent 5 lakhs for his treatment. They currently have only one lakh with them. Chemotherapy has to be started immediately and 3 lakhs must be paid instantly. They are in dire financial need right now. The total treatment cost will be 25lakhs.
