June 28 NGO Provides Housing for Serbian War Veteran & Family

We mark the third year of our housing proj CT. So far west are able to help 500 families since we started our ‘Help Serbian Families’ project. We bought the Majstorovic family a new home close to Sabac! The head of the household, Djuro Majstorovic, is a veteran of the war from Croatia, and had been unable to find a permanent home in Serbia for the past 23 years. His family has recently gone through hard times and the new house will enable them to begin a new life.
We’re extremely proud of the efficiency of our fundraising and delivery teams. Families typically receive help the same month we share their plea with our followers, which is roughly 5 times faster than other organizations operating in the region.
We started the project in early 2016 as a way to more directly help individual families after spending the previous 4 years delivering bulk medical and humanitarian aid.
