International Ecumenical Conference on Orthodox Spirituality
From 9 through 12 September 2009, the 17th annual International Ecumenical Conference on Orthodox Spirituality was held at the Monastery of Bose in Italy. The theme of the conference was “Spiritual Struggle in the Orthodox Tradition”. It was sponsored Bose in cooperation with the University of Turin and Region of Plemonte in cooperation with the Orthodox churches.
With the blessings of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, Rev Fr Adam Makarian represented the Catholicosate of All Armenians at the Conference. Father Adam participated in the discussion sessions and presented a message from His Holiness (text available in English).
