“HRASHAPAR” WELCOME FOR HIS HOLINESS CATHOLICOS ARAM I AT THE WESTERN PRELACY

On the morning of Friday, September 30, 2016, His Holiness Catholicos Aram I arrived at the Prelacy, accompanied by H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate of the Western Prelacy, and Brotherhood members.
His Holiness and entourage were greeted with “Hrashapar” by members of the Brotherhood serving in the Prelacy and clergy, led by H.E. Archbishop Yeprem Tabakian. Executive Council and staff members were present.
A prayer service was held at the “St. Dertad and St. Ashkhen” Chapel, followed by a special service at the Armenian Genocide Centennial monument, during which His Holiness offered an intercessory prayer dedicated to our holy martyrs of the Armenian Genocide and conveyed his first blessings to the Prelacy family. The Prelate welcomed His Holiness and congratulated his 20th anniversary of enthronement.
Later on, His Holiness held meetings with the Prelate, clergy, Executive Council members and staff conveying his blessings and message to all.
