MA`ARAT SAYYIDNAYA, DAMASCUS: His Holiness Patriarch Ignatius Zakka I lead the consecration of Holy Chrism assisted by His Beatitude Catholicos Dr. Baselios Thomas I & other Metropolitans of Holy Syrian Orthodox Church on 19th September 2010 at Patriarchal monastery here.
The preparation for the consecration of Holy Chrism has been started on 10th September at Patriarchal Head quarters here. HH Ignatius Zakka 1st along with H.E Philaxinos Mathias Nayis (Patriarchal Assistant & Director of St. Ephrem Theological seminary) along with Very Reverend Rembans & Priests combined the materials for preparing Holy Chrism on 10th September in an atmosphere filled with prayers & hymns.
