Jerusalem-Holy Land: The Holy and Sacred Synod of the Jerusalem Patriarchate held on 24th May 20201, has decided to upgrade the Holy Monastery of Saint John the Baptist to a shrine by the name ‘Pilgrimage Holy Monastery of Theophany’.

This monastery is located on the East Bank of the Jordan River
