HIS HOLINESS ARAM I RECEIVES THE REPRESENTATIVE OF PATRIARCH ABUNA PAULOS OF ETHIOPIA
Recently, the representative of Abuna Paulos, accompanied by the Chargé d’Affaire of the Ethipian Embassy in Lebanon met with His Holiness Aram I. The purpose of the visit was to ask the Catholicos to assist them in resolving some of the difficulties of the Ethiopian community.
As a recently established community, they do not have certain rights within the confessional structure of Lebanon. The Catholicosate of Cilicia helps the Sister Church in resolving legal matters related to church life.
