His Holiness Aram I Meets with Armenian Women

On Thursday morning a women’s group met with Catholicos Aram I. The visit was organized by the Karagueuzian Humanitarian Foundation.

He first welcomed and thanked the women for their visit and service to the community. He said “to serve those in need is central to Christ’s teachings and an important aspect of the vocation of the Church.” He then shared with them the current problems and difficulties of Armenians in Aleppo(Syria) and Arsakh (Karabagh) and concluded with the hope that Armenians would overcome all difficulties through their collective will to be in solidarity in their joys and sufferings. At the end of the speech the Catholicos opened the floor for questions and invited comments.
