His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel Blessed the B Building of the ‘Righteous Daniil the Hermit’ Pastoral-Cultural Center

His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel arrived yesterday, September 9, 2009, at the Durau Monastery in Neamt county. His Beatitude is accompanied by Most Rev. Teofan, Metropolitan of Moldova and Bukovina, and Right Rev. Calinic, Bishop of Arges and Muscel. Upon the arrival of the three hierarchs, a thanksgiving service was celebrated.
Today, September 10, 2009, the B Building of the ‘Righteous Daniil the Hermit’ Pastoral-Cultural Center of the Durau Monastery was blessed. The service was celebrated by His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel, together with Most Rev. Teofan, Metropolitan of Moldova and Bukovina, and Right Rev. Calinic, Bishop of Arges and Muscel. The event was attended by reverend counselors of the Iasi diocese, priests from the Ceahlau deanery, the nuns of the Durau Monastery and pilgrims.
His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel offered an icon of St. Basil the Great for the newly blessed building. His Beatitude congratulated all who contributed to the restoration of this building, underlining the importance of the Pastoral-Cultural centers. The spiritual counselor of the monastery, Rev.
