His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr Blessed Young Pilgrims from Horodnytsia, Zhytomyr Region
On December 1 the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church rtecieved at his residence the pupils of the Sunday School of St. George Monastery of Horodnytsia (Zhytomyr region), who arrived together with Deputy Abbot of the Monastery Bishop Alexander of Horodnytsia to the Holy Dormition Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra in order to visit its shrines and to greet His Beatitude on his recent birthday.
The children greeted their Archpastor on his anniversary and presented him with the souvenirs they made by hands, and sang festive chants.
His Beatitude thanked the teachers and the pupils for the warm greetings and blessed everyone with the icons of the Mother of God and handed the keepsake gifts.
