In an interview on L’Orient Le Jour on Monday, Greek Orthodox Patriarch Ignatius IV Hazim voiced refusing to transform the Orthodox confession to a political party, considering that there are no candidates from the Orthodox Church for administrative posts.
Hazim said he hasn’t made any contact with the Syrian opposition, whose future program for the country is still anonymous.
