Greek Archbishop Seeks Qatari Property Investment, Ta Nea Says

The Archbishop of Athens is in Qatar seeking to attract investment from the Gulf emirate in church- held real estate in Greece, Ta Nea reported, without saying where it got the information.
The Greek Orthodox Church is looking to boost revenue from its land holdings after rental income declined to 9.2 million euros ($12.8 million) in 2010 from 12.5 million euros a year earlier, the Athens-based newspaper said.
