Governor of Hassakah Visits Patriarch Ignatius Aphrem II

His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received His Excellency Mr. Jayez Al-Moussa, Governor of Hassakah, at the Patriarchate in Bab Touma.
The meeting was attended by their Eminences Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Patriarchal Vicar at the Patriarchal Archdiocese of Damascus, Mor Maurice Amsih, Archbishop of Al-Jazeerah and Euphrates, and Very Rev. Raban Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director.
His Holiness discussed with His Excellency the current situation in Hassakah and Qamishly.
Governor Al-Moussa appreciated the positive role of the church during the crisis in the area, especially the relief and development services offered to the poor and needy.
