New Delhi- India: His Excellency Narendra Modi, Prime Minister India extended Good Friday wishes to all Christians. Indian is home to a considerable number of Christian denominations, including Orthodox Christians, Roman Catholics, Anglican Churches and various Protestant communities. India is also home to the ancient Malankara Church (Indian Orthodox Church) is headquartered in Kerala that upholds the Apostolic Traditions of St. Thomas, one of the disciples of Yeshiva of Nazareth. The Church is one of the members of the ancient communion of Oriental Orthodox Churches.
