Georgia to celebrate 35th anniversary of enthronement of Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II

Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II is celebrating the day of his enthronement today.
As the Patriarchate of Georgia told Trend, in this regard Patriarch will hold a festive liturgy in Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, where he was elected to the Patriarchate of Georgia 35 years ago.
Crowd is expected to arrive in the church.
Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II will celebrate his 80th anniversary on Jan.4.
Today a concert will be held in honor of the Patriarch at the Rustaveli Theatre in Tbilisi.
