The former roman-catholic church building dates back to 1910 and has not been used for 40 years, according to Fr. Răzvan Ionescu, rector of Sts. Paraskeva and Genevieve Romanian Parish in Paris.

The church building will serve Romanian Orthodox faithful within the newly founded St Anthimos the Ivirite Parish. It is estimated that within 2 weeks the believers can attend the divine services at the Church in Auvers-sur-Oise.
