His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II attended a reception organized by the Patriarchal Vicariate of Australia and New Zealand, on the occasion of His Holiness first visit to Australia.
Their Eminences Mor Malatius Malki Malki, Patriarchal Vicar in Australia & New Zealand, and Mor Nicodemus Daoud Sharaf, Metropolitan of Mosul, Kurdistan and their Environs, along with the priests of the parish and a crowd of faithful and dignitaries, also attended the reception.
In his word, His Holiness spoke about the Christian life and the situation of Christians. He then spoke about the foundation of the Patriarchal Vicariate of Australia and New Zealand.
