Five detained in Kosovo over vandalizing Orthodox cemeteries

5 people have been detained in Kosovo, suspected of vandalizing the Orthodox cemeteries in the vicinity of the village of Vitina, said the local police.
“Among those detained are an 18-year-old youth and four minors.
According to law enforcement officers, there is evidence to prove that on the 21st of January they destroyed eight tombstones at an Orthodox cemetery”. According to the police, the suspects were interrogated and then released on bail. In the near future the case will go to trial.
A week ago, there was a series of similar acts of vandalism in the self-proclaimed Republic of Kosovo.
