Helsinki-Finland: A diaconal workshop will be held in Valamo on the 16th and 17th of November 2021. The workshop aims to motivate the faithful to participate in Church activities. The participants will be exposed to emotional skills in encounters, diaconal practices in social security issues, and providing necessary orientation for new members of the Church.
The program also includes a session to discuss the future of the Finnish Orthodox Church. The role of parishioners and volunteers, representatives of organizations, and Church employees will also be discussed in the two-day workshop.
