India/Goa: The 90th Feast of Saintly Alvares Mar Julius I of Goa will be held from 22nd September 2013 to 25th September 2013. The Major celebrations will be held at St Marys Orthodox Church in Goa. Saintly Alvares Julius is often hailed as the Champion of Orthodox Reunion Movement in India. He lead a large number of people from the Roman Catholic Church who got reunited with the mother Indian Malankara Orthodox Church.
