Everyone must know where their borders end – Georgian Patriarch
13/10/2010
Catholicos Patriarch of Georgia Illia the Second delivered speech during his visit to Parliament of Georgia.
Chairperson of parliament Davit Bakradze received representatives of world orthodox churches.
Illia the Second remembered the article published in Nezavisimaya Gazeta, about Patriarch of Russia congratulating South Ossetia with 20th anniversary of independence.
As Ilila the Second declared, the article also reported that Patriarch of Russia wished peace to Russia on its borders – to the North, South, East and West. Illia the Second underscored that Russia’s Patriarch didn’t specify the end of Russian borders.
Illia the Second spoke about the issue in Russian language, adding in Georgian that everyone, Russia among them, must know where their borders end.
