Beirut: His Holiness Patriarch Ignatius Zakka Iwas Primate of the Universal Syriac Orthodox Church celebrates his Episcopal Golden Jubilee on 17th November 2013. Patriarch Ignatius Zakka was ordained as the Metropolitan of Mosul in November 1963 by Patriarch Ya`qub III . Patriarch Zakka is the 122nd successor to St. Peter in the Apostolic See of Antioch.
On this great and blessed occasion a Choral event will be hosted by the Holy Synod of the Syriac Orthodox Church on Saturday 16th November 2013 at Pope John Paul Theatre of Holy Spirit University (Kaslik). The Patriarchal Choir of St Aprem the Syrian will perform under the leadership of Mr Chadi Sarwe.
