The symposium will begin at 10:00 am followed by an hour lunch break around 11:30. A discussion of the papers will follow after lunch. The symposium on questions concerning science and faith to be held at the Holy Epiphany Parish on May 9, 2009 sounds awesome. This symposium will be inclusive, because it will include perspectives from pastoral and scientific domains, and will also seek a harmonious balance between faith and science.
Dear George,
the yesterday symposium was definitely a success. We have managed to have very good and receptive audience that was actively participated in the discussion. Alexey’s talk on the first day of creation was simply outstanding.
We have made video recording of all three talks and now preparing all materials to be posted online (hopefully, it won’t take us more than a week). If you’re interested in receiving those materials – drop me a note at zarayskiy@gmail.com
