Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew to Visit USA and Cuba

Constantinople -Turkey: Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew will pay official visits to the United States of America in October 2021 and Cuba in November 2021. A special invitation was extended by the Cuban President Miguel Mario Díaz-Canel Bermúdez to the Ecumenical Patriarch through the Cuban Ambassador in Turkey.
The Patriarch will visit Havana on the first week of November, towards the end of his visit to the USA. This will be his second visit to Cuba. The first visit was made in 2004 at the invitation of the then President of the country, Fidel Castro. The Patriarch will visit the USA after a gap of twelve years.
