Drought and Sprout National Photo Contest

With the blessings of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians and the assistance of the Ministry of Science, the Christian Education Center (CEC) of Mother See has held a “Drought and Sprout” national photo contest. Participants were secondary school students in grades 5-12. The contest was dedicated to the Centennial Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
On December 19, at 13:00, the awards ceremony of the Drought and Sprout national photo contest will be held in the hall next to the St. Anna and St. Katoghike churches in Yerevan, (Sayat-Nova and Abovyan cross streets). The event will be attended by Mr. Armen Ashotyan, Minister of Education and Science; NA deputies and representatives of the CEC partner organizations.
During the award ceremony the authors of the 3 best photos will be awarded prizes in the following categories: Best Concept, Best Composition, and Special Prize. Additionally, 14 photographers will be recognized for honorable mention.
